Donna, Business Manager
Hi everyone…my name is Donna and I’ve been with NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2006. I love my job and love seeing the children grow and smile within our practice. My time outside the office is spent with my husband Alan and spoiled dogs Ryleigh & Bayli.
I love to travel, especially to any Caribbean destination, although my absolute favorite vacation was spent with my husband, son & daughter touring Italy for 10 days. The highlight of the trip, for me, was being serenaded on the Gondola tour in Venice and experiencing the architecture of Italy. I was just in awe, realizing the experience that many dream of.
I’m a native Virginian and love every season we experience here…even the hot summers.
Christine, Scheduling Manager
Hi everyone…My name is Christine and I have been with NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics since 2007! I am originally from Long Island and even though I have lost most of my accent, it still pops up every once in awhile. The word “drawer” will always sound like “draw” for as long as I live.
I am always up for a fun outdoor adventure, especially when I can include my two children, Madison and Joshua. We love hiking and camping, and enjoy spending our time in the mountains. Some of the places that I have loved visiting are Maine, Vermont, and the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. We enjoy going to Stowe yearly and my husband, Seth, and I even spent our honeymoon in a cabin in Tennessee.
When I have time to myself, I enjoy reading and watching Netflix. Sherlock is on my watch list now. Also, I met a lovely group of women that I get to meet up with every month for book club.
Although my position in the office has changed from being a clinical assistant, working with children, to scheduling and discussing treatments with parents, I love interacting with everyone who walks through our doors!
Eileen, Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
Hello, my name is Eileen. I first came to NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics as a parent when my children became patients in 2006. Before I became the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, I worked on the pediatric dental side so I have seen many patients grow up in this practice. You may have seen my daughter in Dr. Val’s book about going to the dentist.
I enjoy traveling with my family, hiking and biking with my husband and going to Virginia Tech hockey games to cheer for my son. Go Hokie Hockey!
Working with Dr. Ullrich, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful families and l look forward to seeing you when you come to our office!
Amy, Scheduling Coordinator
Hi. My name is Amy and I’m probably only one of a very few who can say they celebrated a second 1st Anniversary at NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics! I began working here in 2006 as a dental assistant, but left to pursue another area in the healthcare field. I rejoined the team in 2014 and I am so happy to be back. Most days you can find me at the front desk, but every once in awhile you might find me helping out in a dental chair. I love seeing patients from when I first worked here and how much they have changed and grown up.
I live in the area with my husband, Dan, and our two cats Tony & Kobe (I’m a little cat obsessed). We enjoy going to sporting events and if I could, I would live in the Outer Banks. I enjoy going there several times a year and even got married there! I look forward to seeing you all in the office!!
Gina, Scheduling Coordinator
Hello! My name is Gina. I joined the team in July 2016, but I have many years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. I love working in this upbeat office and getting a chance to meet our awesome patients!
My husband and I are fairly recent empty nesters but our big, goofy bulldog, Lola, keeps the nest warm until the kids all come home to gather again! We love whenever family gathers; we have large families that include 44 nieces, nephews and grand nephews! We love visiting our kids in the three, separate cities they study in, traveling whenever and wherever possible, and exploring all of the new places to eat in the D.C. area.
When we are home, we enjoy watching movies and football. I’m from Pittsburgh so, of course, I LOVE the Steelers but my husband grew up in Northern VA so he cheers for the Redskins.
I look forward to seeing your smiling faces!
Jhoan, Orthodontic Financial Coordinator
Hello everyone! My name is Jhoan and I am the Scheduling Coordinator for the Orthodontics department. I have been with the practice since 2014 and I am very happy to be a part of the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics family.
I was born and raised in the Philippines but I moved to the United States in 2007. I have 3 siblings, Alvin, KC, & Klevene and we are very close with each other. When I’m back in the Philippines we always have a siblings date night. We love to watch movies or just hanging out at the mall. As a family we always go on family outings and we love eating out.
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Management while working in our office. In my spare time I enjoy swimming and riding my bike on the W&OD trail with my best friend. In September 2015, I finished my very first triathlon in Washington, DC. It is one of my biggest accomplishments. I am very happy that I did it and I’m looking forward to doing another one! I also love to cook and spend time with my friends.
I look forward to seeing you all in the office! Keep wearing those beautiful smiles.
Linda, Scheduling Coordinator
Hi, my name is Linda. I had the great pleasure of joining the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics Team in 2013. This office was a perfect fit for me for so many reasons, but mostly because I love kids. I am a NaNa to 5 fantastic grandchildren – 3 beautiful princesses and 2 handsome prince.
I was born and raised in Alexandria, VA and raised my two sons in the West Springfield area. I thoroughly enjoy going to the Outer Banks but love the ski slopes and mountains just as much! I love going on long rides out in the country and having nice relaxing weekends when I’m not visiting with the grandkids.
Two adorable, part Maine Coon kitties live with me – Miss Bailey and Thomas (named after Thomas O’Malley from the Disney movie The Artistocats). One big surprise – I am a major Disney fanatic!! I’ll even put a movie on and “listen” to it as I am doing housework or projects around the house. You don’t need to “watch” it when you’ve seen it multiple times! Tangled and Little Mermaid are my favorites!
So, when you come up to check out and you hear me humming a tune see if you can figure out which movie it’s from!!!
Betty, Professional Relations Coordinator
Hello everyone! My name is Betty and I am a member of the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics marketing team. Although you may not often see me in the office, I am busy at work behind the scenes setting up the display table for our contests and preparing the prizes for the contest winners.
I was born in Chicago and have lived in a number of places around the world. I am now happy to call Northern Virginia home. I am a huge country music fan. Currently my favorite song is “Tonight Looks Good on You”. I’d love to know your favorite country song.
I have five amazing children and a beautiful granddaughter. They definitely keep me smiling.
Allison, Orthodontic Assistant
Hello everyone! My name is Allison and I have been a part of the NOVA Pediatric & Orthodontics team since 2012. I have found a wonderful home with our office due to the wonderful doctors, teammates, and amazing patients of course!!
I am originally from South Jersey but have been living in Northern Virginia since 2004. I often go home to Jersey to visit my family and also try to go to the warm beaches during the summertime. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, dancing, and spending time with family, friends, and loved ones. I am also very blessed to share the same birthday with my sister. We were born on the same day but 2 years apart!
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Andie, Dental Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Andie. I started as part of the NOVA Pediatric & Orthodontic team in January of 2015. I received my degree in Dentistry in 2012 and was a practicing dentist in the Philippines. I moved to Virginia just last year and it has been such a big change for me. I have a 5 year old son, Dominic, who loves to go to the dentist and enjoys every minute he gets to sit on the dental chair or just being in a dental office watching work being done. We would enjoy watching How to Train your Dragon 1 & 2, Disney’s Cars, and Peppa Pig, all on repeat. I miss him so much because he is back in the Philippines. But getting to work with kids everyday always brightens up my day. Outside of work, I love to look for new places to eat — I love food. I also like to travel and visit new places every chance I get. I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Casey, Dental Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Casey and I have been a part of the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics team since February of 2016. I have a BS in Business Administration, but have switched careers and love being a dental assistant. I am Pre-Dental Hygiene at Lord Fairfax Community College with ambitions to join the Dental Hygiene program in the near future. I was previously a Veterinary Assistant for over 8 years, with a focus on performing dental cleanings on anesthetized pets. Teeth are my passion, and I could not have been more thrilled to join such a wonderful team of individuals who strive to bring the best care to every little smiling face we see.
In my spare time, you can find me running, painting, or shopping. My husband, Tyler, and I love to hike and explore the outdoors. We also love cooking, trying out new wineries, hanging out with friends and family, and entertaining our household full of cats and reptiles.
I look forward to meeting you all!
Gina, Orthodontic Assistant
Hey y’all! My name is Gina. I joined the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics team in 2016. When I graduated from Longwood University in 2008, I knew the dental field was my dream job; I’ve been in Orthodontics ever since. You’ll find me helping Dr. Ullrich make amazing smiles.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband and daughter. We love cooking and eating together. Do we cook gourmet food on a weeknight? Absolutely! Pets are a big deal in my house. Besides 2 dogs, I also have a bit of an aquarium hobby which includes 5 tanks with 3 aquatic turtles and an assortment of freshwater fish. Do you have any pets? Tell me about them when I see you for your orthodontic appointments!
Jasmine, Orthodontic Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine and I have been a part of the NOVA Pediatric & Orthodontics team since 2010. I graduated and received my degree in Dentistry from the Philippines in 2007. I moved to Virginia in 2008 and one big challenge for me was adjusting to the weather!!! Growing up in a tropical country, I enjoy going to the beach and spending time outdoors with family and friends. My husband, Ian, and I love to travel and explore new places. We recently visited California, Nevada, and Arizona. My favorite part of our trip was seeing the magnificent Grand Canyon. Hope to see you soon in the office! Keep on smiling.
LaQuita, Dental Assistant
Hi. My name is LaQuita, and I really enjoy working with kids. I have been a pediatric dental assistant for over 12 years, and have had the pleasure of working with the amazing team at NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics since mid 2015.
I grew up in Birmingham, AL and attended the University of Florida. I moved to Virginia 20+ years ago and have loved living in the area, even though I’m not a big fan of winter! I really do enjoy the diversity and culture available here. I enjoy hiking, tubing, museums and wineries…and VA has it all! An added bonus is my 7 grandchildren that live in the area; they really keep me busy!
I truly love what I do. Every child I have the opportunity to interact with, I feel that I am able to make a difference in their life, even if only in some small way…and to me, that is very rewarding. I look forward to meeting all of you in the dental chair!
Marjon, Dental Assistant
Hello everyone! My name is Marjon. I joined the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics team in 2016 and I had the pleasure of celebrating the practice’s 10 Year Anniversary…woo hoo!! I have been in the dental field since 2007 and love working with children. Prior to being in the dental field, I worked in a daycare when I was in high school until a few years after I graduated.
In my free time I like to spend all my time with my energetic 2-year-old son. We love the outdoors and spending time with our loved ones. I’m so excited to be part of such a wonderful team and meeting you all!! Here’s to another 10+ years!!
Meghan, Dental Assistant
Hi There! My name is Meghan and I’m one of the Dental Assistants here at NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. I’ve been part of the team since 2013. I was a preschool teacher and an assistant director for 6 years before that! I love all things nature and enjoy hiking, camping, and just being outside.
I’m also a vegan, and of course, I love animals! I have three cats, and a horse named Anya. I’ve been riding horses for more than 15 years now and I competed in horse trials in High School. Children and animals are so honest and I believe we can learn a lot from them.
I can’t wait to meet you all! Maybe I’ll see you at your next cleaning!
Michelle, Dental Assistant
Hello my Friends, my name is Michelle. I have been part of the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics team since 2011 and I LOVE my job! I graduated from the Metropolitan Institute of Health and Technology in June of 2011 earning my certification in Dental Assisting and knew right away I wanted to work in pediatrics.
When I am not at work I am usually at home hanging out with my best friend and husband, Andrew. We do not have any children yet but do have four very lovable fur babies – three cats, Zoey, Bowzer, and Ruckus and one dog Riley. I also enjoy spending time with my family over a good meal, board games, or a game of cards.
I cannot wait to meet you and help you keep your smile bright! See ya soon! 🙂
Natasha, Dental Assistant
Hi my name is Natasha, but everyone just calls me Tasha. I’ve been with the team since 2010 and I love it here! I’ve had 3 kids for the longest of time, but my husband and I recently added twin girls! Twins run in my family so it was no real surprise. My younger siblings are twins and I have a niece and nephew who are twins as well. Do you have any twins in your family?
Robin, Dental Assistant
Hi there I’m Robin! I have been with NOVA Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics for over 5 years and I love working with kids and teens. I enjoy getting to know your families while I help make going to the dentist a positive experience.
When I’m not at work making teeth sparkle, I try to get outside as much as possible whether I’;m hiking or going to Nationals baseball games! I spend lots of time with my friends and family and you’ll find me enjoying live music and trying new foods wherever I can! I look forward to seeing you soon for your next appointment!
Roxanne, Dental Assistant
Hello! I’m Roxanne and I joined the NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics team in April of 2016. I was working as a veterinary assistant after graduating from Radford University in 2012. I worked with children when I was younger (neighborhood babysitter!) and this seemed like a wonderful opportunity to work with kids again. I’m so excited to be here and help all my patients with their oral hygiene.
I’ve lived in Virginia my whole life but I’ve traveled around the U.S. and even spent a semester abroad in the UK. Outside of work I like to see friends, read, and watch Netflix. I’m a huge pop culture geek so I’m ready to talk about things like Harry Potter, Star Trek, and Doctor Who at all times. I’m always on the hunt for good books too, so what are some of your favorites?
I also have a kitty named Zuc. He’s black with orange eyes and I adore him (even if he is a bit weird). I look forward to meeting you soon!
Trudy, Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator
Hello! My name is Trudy. I joined the team in July 2016, but I have been in the orthodontic field since 2006. I am originally from Massachusetts and have been in Virginia since 1999. I still get teased for my strong Massachusetts accent that I have not lost (smiles). I really enjoy working in the orthodontic field because I love to see the transition and the confidence that people gain when they have a new beautiful smile to show off.
I come from a large family; I am the youngest of 7 children. I have 10 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. I have a 6 year old daughter who brings my husband and I great joy and also keeps us very busy! We also have a 14 year old Yorkie who has been part of the family since he was 6 weeks old.
During my down time I enjoy reading, shopping, and spending quality time with my Husband and daughter. I look forward to seeing your smiling faces!
